Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre proved in the opening match of WrestleMania 37 that two big men can have a scintillating and lengthy match in 2021. Vince McMahon was clearly as enamored with this match as the fans were as he wants to see them do it again. He has thrown a potential wrench into the mix in the form of Braun Strowman, though. In theory, three big Superstars doing battle is better than two, but it remains to be seen whether that will translate to the ring.

Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks made history at WrestleMania. However, Bayley found herself without any match whatsoever. The Role Model will look to make up for that when she gets her shot at the latest Superstar to be dubbed the future of WWE’s women’s division. The EST of WWE has proved she is more than up to the task of performing when the biggest of spotlights is on her, so all signs point to this being a terrific match.

After failing to weasel her way into the Raw Women’s Title match at WrestleMania, Charlotte Flair has finally managed to make that match happen at WrestleMania Backlash. Asuka and Rhea Ripley will not be getting the WrestleMania rematch they were likely hoping for, and The Queen will be a part of the proceedings when they step back in the ring together on May 16. Flair seems to have Sonya Deville in her back pocket. She can’t win the title for her at Backlash though, but might not need Deville for that part of the plan.
